THE ORIGINAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPERTY DID CONFORM PRIOR TO THE 2015 LDR. THE VARIANCE IS NOT CONTRARY TO THE PUBLIC INTEREST. BECAUSE IT DOES NOT ALLOW THE APPLICANT TO IMPAIR THE APPLICATION OF THE REGULATIONS FOR SELF IMPOSED HARDSHIPS, HARDSHIPS THAT ARE BASED SOLELY ON FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS, CONVENIENCE OR INCONVENIENCE, OR CONDITIONS THAT ARE ALLEGED TO BE SPECIAL BUT THAT ARE ACTUALLY COMMON TO MANY PROPERTIES. A REPLATTING OF THE LOTS WILL NOT CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF THE AREA OR AFFECT THE NEIGHBORING SITES.
