PUBLIC HEARINGS Planned Unit Development - 6910 Yucca Drive Consider for approval an Ordinance of the City of Galveston, Texas, creating a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay District in a Residential, Single Family-One (R-1) Base Zoning District, on property commonly known as 6910 Yucca Drive and which is legally described as Lots 6 through 10, Block 8, Gulf Village Addition, in the City and County of Galveston, Texas, for development as a Retreat Center; to approve the Concept Site Plan for the PUD; Planning Case Number 15P-020; making various findings and provisions related tot he subject. The City Manager is authorized to execute all necessary documents upon final approval by the City Attorney. 11.A IDC Economic Development Agreement Consider for approval an Economic Development Agreement between the City of Galveston, Texas, and the Industrial Development Corporation relating the public rightof-way improvements adjacent to 2200 Market Street. Funding from the IDC Economic Development Silo shall not exceed $150,000. (B. Cook) 11.B ROW License To Use--2200 Market Street Consider for approval a Right-of-Way License to Use and Hold Harmless Agreement between the City of Galveston, Texas, and Waverly Holding, LLC relating to public right-of-way improvements adjacent to 2200 Market Street. Funding from the IDC Economic Development Silo shall not exceed $150,000. (B. Cook) 11.C Police Department Equipment Purchase Consider for approval the purchase of seven (7) Flashback 3 Digital Video Recording units and nine (9) body mics to replace old outdated equipment that is out of warranty from L-3 Mobile Vision for a total price of $20,956.00, which will be funded by the 2012 Minor Equipment JAG Grant account. Porretto) 11.E Consider for approval a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Galveston, Texas, distributing and awarding Fiscal Year 2015 hotel occupancy tax revenues to eligible arts and historic preservation organizations under single-year contracts; redistributing forfeited funds from previous fiscal years to those eligible organizations; approving the annual budgets of such recipients; authorizing the City Manager to execute contracts with such recipients; directing the City Secretary to send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Park Board of Trustees; providing for findings of fact and providing for an effective date. 11.F Galveston - Houston Connectivity Receive and file a Resolution adopted by the Galveston County Transit District urging participation in a Galveston - Houston Transit Connectivity Program. Letter From The GLO--JC Canterra Funds Receipt and acknowledgment of communication dated June 30, 2015 directed to the City Manager from the Texas General Land Office advising of GLO’s intent to issue payment of all remaining JC Canterra funds held by the GLO to counsel for JC Canterra for placement into his trust account pursuant to the terms of the previous agreement entered into by the Texas General Land Office, the City of Galveston and JC Canterra.
