Dooley Tackaberry was the lowest bidder. B. Consider for approval of the purchase of 21 nozzles for the Galveston Fire Department from Metro Fire for a total price of $16,999.50 using the FireAct Grant Funds and donations for this purchase. Metro Fire was the lowest bidder. C. Consider for approval the two year rentals of numerous by-pass umps from low bidder (BID#10-11-04) National Pump for the operation of lift stations, the main and airport WWTP for the protection of human safety and welfare for emergency recovery following Hurricane Ike. The cost of the rental time is $443,964.00 annually or $887,928.00. over the two year contract period. The funding source is FEMA Reimbursement. D.
