Consider for approval an ordinance of the City of Galveston. Texas, granting a Specific Use Permit for the construction of a "'Wireless Communication Tower'* in a One Family-Four (1F-4) zoning district; property is commonly known as 1505 J. H. Clouser Lane and legally described as Northeast Part of Northwest Block 39 (39-0-5). Galveston Outlots. in the City and County of Galveston. Texas; Planning Case Number 12P-78: making various findings and provisions related to the subject.
Discuss and consider for action approving and consenting to the assignment(s) of housing units from JC Cantera Homes and all remaining CO homes under CDBG Disaster Housing Program ("Program") Rehabilitation Packages to one or more contractors on the Program's Pre-Approved Contractor List or the General Land Office's Approved Bidder List, subject to approval of the terms and conditions of the assignment by the City Manager. Director of Grants & Housing, and the City Attorney; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents related to the assignment and the City's consent and approval of the assignment(s).
Consider for action authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents relating to the moving expenses estimated at $250,000 associated with relocating Farmer's Alloy Fabricating to Galveston, which is proposed to be funded out of the Economic Development portion of the 4B Sales Tax proceeds, upon final approval of the City Attorney.
Consider for action authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents relating to the repair of Washington Park in the amount of $1,500,000. which is to be funded out of the Parks portion of the 4B Sales Tax proceeds, upon final approval of the City Attorney.
Consider for action authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents for the Seawall re-paving project from approximately 39th Street to 6lh Street in the amount of $700,000. which is to be funded out of old/prior IDC 4B Sales Tax proceeds, upon final approval of the City Attorney.
Consider for action authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents for the Virtual Modeling Project to determine optimum shoreline protection structures at an estimated amount of $100,000. which is proposed to be funded out of the Beach Nourishment portion of the 4B Sales "fax proceeds, upon final approval of the City Attorney.
