Consider for approval authorizing the City Manager to execute a Fifth Amendment of Lease Agreement amending the description of the leased premises, rental and purpose for the lease which commenced May 22, 1974, originally between the City of Galveston and the Galveston Racquet Club, but assigned December 13, 2012, to Galveston Island Waterpark, LP upon final approval by the City Attorney.
Consider for action approving a lump sum payment to the Port of Galveston in the amount of $6,449,286 for the Port's development of the Downtown Intermodal Transit Terminal, in accordance with the Development and Facilities agreement approved on May 10, 2012. The funding sources are comprised of various grants.
