EXECUTIVE SESSION A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, "Consultation with Attorney" to discuss and receive legal advice pertaining to the following pending or contemplated litigation matters: 1. City Claim # 12-010; Cause No. 12-CV-0320, Martini v. The City of Galveston and The Building Standards Commission of the City of Galveston, Texas; In the 405th Judicial District Court of Galveston County, Texas; relating to the structure located on the property at 2402^45th Street, Galveston, Texas. 2. City Claim # 12-011; Cause No. 12-CV-0348, Indian Beach Property Owners' Association, Inc. v. City of Galveston; In the 122nd Judicial District Court of Galveston County, Texas. 3. City Claim # 12-016; Case No. 3:12-CV-00064, Allen v. City of Galveston, County of Galveston, and Taser International, Inc.; In the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas— Galveston Division. 4. Texas Windstorm Insurance Association ("TWIA") claims and legal service agreement with the Law Offices of A. Craig Eiland, P.C. 5. Potential Claims relating to BP Multi-District Litigation.
Discuss and consider for action the reallocation and rescheduling of CDBGDR Non-Housing Projects for Rounds 1, 2.1, & 2.2 resulting from the bids associated with the Main Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction which is being funded through the GLO Round 1 Non-Housing CDBG-DR grant.
Discuss and consider for action approving and consenting to the assignment of remaining housing units from Compass Pointe Homes ("CPH") under CDBG Disaster Housing Program ("Program") Reconstruction Package Numbers 1, 2, and 3 to one or more contractors on the Program's Qualified Prime Contractor List, subject to the City Manager, Director of Grants & Housing, and the City Attorney approval of the terms and conditions of the assignment, and authorizing the City Manager, Director of Grants & Housing, and the City Attorney to execute all documents related to the assignment and the City's consent and approval of the assignment.
After adjourning the City Council the council members reconvened the Workshop finish up the items that were left over and adjourn the Workshop.
