Discuss and consider for action the amended downtown intermodal transportation/Parking Terminal Management and Operating Agreement between the City of Galveston and the Port, which was deferred during the May 23, 2013 Council Meeting, and authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment upon final approval by the City Attorney.
Discuss and consider for action amending the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Galveston and the Galveston Island Park Board of Trustees relating to the distribution of revenue generated from downtown metered parking in order to provide for a different funding source and to consider changes as recommended by the Park Board of Trustees which was approved by the Finance Committee on March 13, 2013.

Consider for approval a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Galveston, Texas, authorizing the Mayor to apply for a Texas Department of Transportation. Division of Aviation, grant for airport improvements in the Fiscal Years 2014-2018. Authorizing the Texas Department of Transportation as agent for the City of Galveston for the purposes of applying for receiving and disbursing of all funds for these improvements, Dirceting the City Manager to execute all necessary documents relating to the grant; directing the City Secretary to send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Texas Department of Transportation; providing for findings of fact and providing for an affective date.
Consider for approval a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Galveston, Texas, approving an advanced funding agreement between the City of Galveston and the Texas Department of Transportation for the Seawall Boulevard Mill and Overlay Roadway Project from Ferry Road to 39th Street authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement and all other necessary documents upon final approval by the City Attorney: directing the City Secretary to send a certified copy of this Resolution to the Texas Department of Transportation: providing, for findings of fact and for an effective date.
Consider for approval a Resolution of the City of Galveston suspending the June 28, 20l3 effective date of Texas Gas Services cost of service adjustment to permit the City time to study the request and to establish reasonable rates: finding that the City's reasonable rate case expenses shall be reimbursed by the Company: hiring legal and consulting services to negotiate with the Company and direct any necessary litigation and appeals: finding that the meeting at which this Resolution is passed is open to the public as required by law- requiring notice of the Resolution to the Company and Legal Counsel.
